Pest algae is generally an issue only in aquariums where the environment is more conducive for its growth. Chances are almost 100% that your tank already has diatoms in it, but they aren't a problem because tank doesn't have the same environment. Jay

Pest algae is generally an issue only in aquariums where the environment is more conducive for its growth. Chances are almost 100% that your tank already has diatoms in it, but they aren't a problem because tank doesn't have the same environment. Jay
