Petco $1 per gallon just started at most stores

If you are like me and have been waiting for the Petco sale.... I was just in my local Petco in W. Palm Beach and its on!!!

Time to start your next build.

Picked up a 29 for my new Fish QT and a 40 for a sump for my new 100 build.

Did your store offer the 40B at $1/gallon ($40) or half off (about $50)?

I bought a 40B and a 20L today. The 20L was $1/gallon but tanks larger than a 29G were half off.

Still a great deal in my book. I am about to start a new thread for my new 40B build and get some help from the best reef keepers in the world right here on R2R.

I just picked up a 40 as well. However my petco now only does 1 dollar per gallon up to 29 gallons. 40 gallons to 75 gallon is 50% off which is still good enough for me.

Yeah must be a nation wide deal. Maybe it was always that way I have only bought a 20L from this sale until today. Enjoy your new tanks everyone ;-)

It used to be a dollar per gallon up to 55g. They might have changed it though

Michael, it seems the last couple of dollar sales in my area that 29 and less are $1 and everything higher is 50%.

Thanks for the heads up. How long do these sales usually last? Leaving town today for the weekend, but could def use a 75G for sump.

Thanks, interestingly my local store has only a 3 day sale advertised, Oct 27-29, for the tanks.

My flier says the same, Oct 27-29, it also says all fish, inverts, and corals are 30% off during that timeframe

I guess that cant produce the tanks fast enough or are taking too large of a hit when the $1 a gallon sale comes around. Lots of people just hold off till they run it and soak up all the tanks that way. No one is spending $110 on a 40B off sale thats insane. Sucks as some places were doing 75's for $75 too I really wanted to get my hands on one.
