Petco $1 per gallon sale

Petco's having their dollar per gallon sale again from December 26 to January 24. 10, 20, 29, 40 and 55 gallon tanks are the options.

Love this sale. It's always good to have extra tanks on hand for various reasons. And if another reefer needs a tank you can sell it to him for what you paid in effect making the dollar per gallon sale year round. The club should stock tanks and when the sale is not going around sell them to members for like 1.25 a gallon. A good reason to get people to join and it offers the dollar per gallon sale year round. It's no fun when you think up a project and your wishing this sale was on!

I wish I had more space and money. But I'm also thinking there's enough tanks that are waiting for us (next years plan) to buy a house too, lol. There's a few always in my garage if someone needs something in an emergency.

I guess I'll throw it out there, I usually have, new unused 10, 20L, 20H, and 40B on hand.... if anyone ever has a emergency.

Are tetra tanks good to go? Or are they known for any issues?

I've used about a dozen 40b over the years from petco and never had a issue

Just read something about them being thin. Maybe they got ahold of a terarium purpose one

I just saw the 40b at petco for $40. Wanted to buy even though I don't even need lol.

They are also doing buy 2 get 1 free on fish and coral the 8th-10th
