Petco 40b bottom drillable?

Just checking to be sure but wondering if the bottom glass of the 40b petco has on the $1 a gal sale can be drilled or not.

Yes I bought one and drilled it.

I think mine has a sticker that says tempered on the bottom. I would get a glass-holes OF and drill the back.

I drilled my 40b on the side. I have not seen one on the bottom. Mine does not have a sticker that says tempered though.

arent most all tanks tempered on the bottom for strength. not sure but thats just what ive been told.

Well. Smaller tanks with thin glass would be the ones that are more likely to be tempered.

His intention for drilling the bottom is stacking the 2 40b for RODI and Salt Mix tanks.FYI(for ya'lls info)

The tank is made Aqueon. The sticker is right on the tank. Contact them and find out.

Yeah I'll have to. Haven't really looked at the tanks. I just put them into the garage and didn't even give them a second glance.
