Petco Deal today

So for anyone who quarantines and is willing to take a chance, Petco has 20% off all marine life today through Sunday. And today, if you have a checking account and debit card with Chase, you can earn another 10% back on your purchase at Petco. So basically 30% off any saltwater livestock.

I picked up a pearlscale butterfly originally priced at $39.99, 2 ORA pincushion urchins originally at $11.99 each, 2 ORA sharknose gobies originally at $19.99 each, and 3 ORA pajama cardinals @ $19.99 each. Surprisingly, everything looked very healthy, no signs of disease in any tanks, just a lot of diatoms. And I am prophylactically quarantining everything, so not worried about disease getting into my displays.

Those same fish at most of my LFS would be about 1.5x that price before any of the discounts or cash back.

Pearlscales are absolutely beautiful! It’s hard to get that kind of orange in anything but a Pearlscale or a Harlequin tusk.

They had lots of those as well. Not a lot of coral, but a few different tangs (hippo, sailfin, naso), juvenile orange spot rabbitfish, juvenile foxface, sixline wrasses, melanurus wrasses, fang blennies, various clown gobies, various watchman gobies (pink spot, lagoon, yellow), niger triggers, papuan tobies, damsels, and a few other things.

My petco has a bubble coral I’ve been eying we shall see

Y’all enablers , I got a bubble coral and hydra green anemone ,it’s a green bubble tip but speckled with purple tips. I think the bubble coral is bleached not too sure but looks healthy should color up soon and this was only 80$ for both
