My store didn't seem to be up to speed yet. Not much inventory and no signage. Usually they stack a whole bunch up just inside the front door.

29 according to the ad when I bought a 20L today.

Edit: oops misread this. I think the upper limit is as big as they carry which I think is 75g.

I stopped in to a local petco on Friday here in Atlanta to see if they had the $1/g sale coming up and if it would include a 75g (which is an awesome deal when your on a budget), the manager there told me that petco will not be doing the $1/g sale on anything over 40g at all any more. And here the largest they are doing the 50% off us a 55. Anyone in GA know where they are doing 50% off on a 75g?

Just got off the phone with Petco corporate. 75G (at least in Houston) IS part of the 50% off sale.
They seem pretty hard to find though, only 2 stores in Houston carry them. Both are out of stock.

I tried calling corporate as well to see if they could tell me if the sale applies to 75g in Atlanta and if any of there stores had any in stock. They werent able to provide me with any info because there website doesn't doesn't have the 75g. You must have better people skills then I do. lol

It took a lot of patience. Total call time was 19:34. The rep on the phone told me she called one of the store managers in town that normally stocked 75G to find out.
I think you'd have the best luck by identifying the biggest Petco in your town and calling the manager there.

Everyone, let me apologize! Stopped into local store where they told me the 75g were $1/1g......apparently they no longer do this....they told me salesperson misspoke:mad:.

Rats! If I would have known they weren't going to do 40Bs at $1/1g any more, I never would have returned the 2 that I got last time in order to buy 2, 29s instead. I had stands for the 29s but not the 40B size. And, it's a pain to find a decent 40B stand. They seem to be so flimsy now-a-days. No sturdy, safer 1-piece stands anymore.

It's still only $10/tank more with the 50% off sale so still worth keeping an eye out for these sales. Just not as good as they used to be.

hey is this still going on in petco stores? and is this only in participating stores or any?

Its over for now, but, I think its every couple of months in all stores.
