Check out this nano tank I picked up at Petco. It was an early Christmas present. It will be replacing my 6 gal pico tank.

I saw one a bit ago almost did the same thing you did! I would have but we’re moving and don’t need another tank to move lol

Here it is all set up, for now I have a few pulsing Xenias and a RFA inside. The other tank house a bunch of copepods and are now being used to culture and transferred to my DT. I will be adding some zoas, few more RFA and maybe a hammer or frogspawn. As for fish, I was thinking a pair of Wyoming white clowns, cleaner shrimp and a dragonet or 6 line wrasse just to keep the pods in check.

I also added my Aquami Nano power head for circulation. I’m using the SPS Max 100l setting. I went with this setting as it provides more wave modes throughout the day. It helps stir up some of the detritus. I was going to go bare bottom but most of the pods and bristle worms were in the substrate. The substrate used are a white pebble with a mix of aragonite. Reason for the pebble was for the RFA that were in the previous tank, easy for them to hold on to and easy to transfer. I will keep updates on this tank as I go. I do have a IM 30 long that I’m trying to put pictures together for another build thread. This one has been running since May.

Love this little tank. Interesting setup you got there. Might suggest something other than dragonet or 6 line as they will out grow the tank quickly.
Thank you! Total water volume, without rock, is 13.5 gal. I figured with about a 10 gal display it would enough room for either or. I’m open to any suggestions that will help for the long term.
