Petco is so irresponsible......but what's new?

IME; 24-48 hrs is fine if adding freshwater fish (looks like a FW setup in the pic.) But you only want to add a few and they should be hardy species. The nitrogen cycle for FW is nowhere near as harsh as it is for SW.

It's a freshwater set up in the pic but says add salt or conditioner in the directions

Not for nothing, but that's in reference to freshwater and technically, you can add fish after 48 hours in fresh.

I bought a powder blue from Petco yesterday! anyone wanna place bets on how long it lives or if i end end up having to nuke my tank, haha
