I tried a fresh water dip and everything but they were already gone...they taste a little funny after the methelyne blue bath, though

With my background I would definitely give them mouth to mouth (well whole body) attention!!!

@Mjrenz

Call Joe. You will like it but need to coordinate with him. It’s all been covered to make this happen.

All: we have a 8month old complete setup from a manufacturer rep. Joe at Fish World in VA was excellent to work with and is coordinating this for us. It is a complete 75 set up. Support this guy- he is the real deal!

If you would like to contribute to this set up please pm me. I will get a list of donors when this is completed for Matt.

Thanks all.

I donated an eheim jager for the cause so make sure none of the funds collected go to a heater. It’s covered! So amazing we’re able to get this done.

@JBKReef, thank you for the thoughtful gift!

Edit: unfortunately all the Swedish fish seem to have arrived dead, I think they may have suffocated in their individual wrappers;Dead lol. They are one of our favorite treats and we all appreciate them a lot!

Those poor fish! Probably better give them a good farewell. I hope they are all enjoyed. Well earned.

It looks the same size, maybe a little more noticeable but it could just be a clearer photo... still on both sides?
It's still on both sides but how visible it is depends on how the light hits it

I just want to update everyone on the new tang tank. Joe at Fish World is working on getting the tank to his shop and he's going to contact me when it's there. I'll likely be able to go to pick it up next weekend. I'm not sure exactly what's going to be included with it but I'm excited to find out!

One thing that has been on my shopping list for a while is a booster pump for my ro system. Since it will probably take about 3 days to fill the new tank with my water pressure I'm thinking now is a good time to get one. Does anybody happen to have one they aren't using or have a used one that's still functional? Even if it's just a loan for the initial fill it would be much appreciated

One thing you will need to get from Joe is either Dr. Tims One and Only, or Fritz turbo start 900 for the beneficial bacterial.

Suggest using the new heater from JBKreef even if one comes with the system. Keep that old one as a standby.

I will do both of those things :)

Well, I think I can help you out. I have a booster pump & power supply on hand as a spare - I’ll can send to you.

If you think of something I'm ready.
I'm still trying to think of what I can ask for, I'm just really not sure what else I can ask of all of you because everyone is doing so much. Is there anything you could think of?

Edit: I'm not really what all is coming with the tank, I should be ok on picking it up and transporting it. I'll see if I can come up with something once I know what I'm working with

@Mjrenz if you could use a Danner Mag 7 pump, maybe for mixing salt it's a bit noisy, please PM me your address. Thanks and God bless to all for showing the true spirit of the human soul.
I could use that, I've been using a cheap power head to mix salt and it takes forever. Thank you!

If you’re getting a larger QT tank I would ensure all the above is covered:

Tank
Heater
Filter
Powerhead(s)
PVC for hiding
Bubbler
Ammonia badge
Simple light
Cover/netting of some kind.

Once all that has been met- then to build up your medication list to have on hand. I would refer to the lists @HotRocks and @Humblefish have provided previously in their write ups.

After that maybe aim some funds towards rescuing other fish to continue to pay it forward.

Maybe find a tank you could upgrade to so you could hang onto one of these guys you’re rescuing.
