Ok, if the water change helped then there probably was a low level of ammonia. I look more for fish behavior than the alert badges anyway, since there is some delay between ammonia being present and the badge actually showing it... rapid breathing is definitely one of the first signs.

Still no copper yet, originally I was planning on treating both tangs together when the antibiotics were finished and since we lost the yellow tang and had the close calls I've just been using the hypo and MB for the flukes
Looks correct to me, I’d say I notice significant changes in my badges within 12 hours. Also, it’s best to flash a light directly on the front of the alert badge to get the best reading. Otherwise it seems it always looks “a little” green.

We did lose the yellow tang
Looks like it in between the green and yellow. I checked the water when mine turned green and the amona was really high.@ngoodermuth, I have 5 gallons changed out and I've dosed the MB, prime, and biospira. How long should I wait to see a change in her breathing? I'm pretty sure the alert badge is still reading zero but I'm not the best at differentiating colors on tests and the MB is making it even harder. Maybe there's a trace of ammonia?
I have the api drops but I'm worried that the test will be way off because of the blue water
I've been adding the prime every day since starting the MB and now I'm adding biospira also every day. I'm thinking I should just start changing water every day instead of every other day
She's seems to be doing well and hiding right now, breathing is still a little fast @ngoodermuth. I just picked up some lrs herbivore food from Fish World for her, I'm hoping she likes it!
Tomorrow, but I'm doing another 5 gallons right now and adding the appropriate amount of MB back in for 5 gallons and adding biospira
