Petco's $1 gallon

Has anyone ever purchase a tank from petco when they have this sell ? Are the tanks any good it's just to good to be true because I'm thinking of upgrading to a 30 gallon

Yea they are fine. They are aqueon tanks. The last sale just ended yesterday but they usually have quite a few sales per year.

The sale is fine. Make sure to get the aqueon tanks. I have bought a few for sumps and most recently a 40b for a frag tank.

Have had one (40b) for 10 years that I used as a sump for a 120. Even drilled holes in it for an external Iwaki pump. Also had a 29 as a QT. Seemed to be structurally decent tanks. They hold water, but don't expect beveled glass and Reef Savvy class silicone work.

Oh ok well I'm thinking of getting it for a display tank because my apartment where I live at only allow me to keep a 30 gallon :/

Yea, pretend they are your gf/wife. Get the 40 and if they ask say, what do you mean..that is only 30 gallons. LOL After rock and gravel, it probably is only 30!

Yeah the tanks are good and so is the price. It is however the only thing going to be cheap. I got a 40b for 40$. Thats when I found out what it costs for stand canopy hood glass. You should do OK with a 30 gallon though.

Petco just finished thier dollar a gallon sale Saturday. I was disappointed to find that out today.

it will come back around just make sure the next one includes aqueon tanks . sometimes it is only the new tetra ones and they're built terribly.
