I've found most of the information I find online is from him anyway. Honestly he should write a book, Chemistry and the Reef Aquarium. While I appreciate the free advice a handy Hardcover book, or kindle book would really be useful to me. I did find this, http://www.maast.org/showthread.php?75999-The-Collected-Work-of-Randy-Holmes-Farley -- It is helpful but some of us would love a Hardcover or offline kindle edition of his work over the years.
If you google anything in this hobby, more often than not his articles are the first to pop up. While we could get it free. A desk reference would be nice. Think of all the poor suckers at petco who buy fish tanks with no idea... He would save thousands of (aquatic) lives if his book was sold fish stores across the nation. Recommended by major online stores, ext.
To make it more useful he could even do it textbook style. Allowing us to test ourselves on the concepts learned. At the end of each chapter, section, and the book itself. If the book is successful he could even make a lab companion book, for practicing the various concepts.
So who wants Randy to write an aquarium book? If we get enough people he will have to write the book, or lock the thread. I have no idea if he want's to write a book, but I saw his bio online so I know he is capable of it.
Please post if you support the idea, until randy agrees or locks the thread.
