If you know your alkalinity levels in the tank is there a need to check PH or is there a corresponding number based on dkh levels?

pH is determined mathematically by the carbonate alkalinity (which is close to total alk measured by kits) and the CO2 level in the water.

Unfortunately, carbon dioxide often rises in homes, driving down pH even if alkalinity is correct.
