pH and Alk/Ca balance

Hey Randy,
Just wondering what you think of these parameters...
My tank is consistently staying between 8.2 to 8.4
Alk right now is 9.9 or so
Ca is around 420

Should I alter these ratios to optimize growth in my SPS? I remember the article you wrote awhile back that talked about how pH can affect the ability to of corals to take up calcium...

Interrupting. (sorry)
I would think those are excellent starting values which we all make the initial adjustment to when starting the diy 2 part.
So you might consider doing the diy 2 part as you're already at the starting point.
