ph buffering live rock fw cure bath?

How much baking soda should I add per gallon of tap water I am using to soak bleached and dried dry rock? to get the ph to 8 ?

What is the pH now? My tap water is already above pH 8.

"MWRA treats its drinking water so that it has a pH of approximately 9.0-9.5"
