Probably asking a redundant question. I’ve been trying to get my ph probe on my apex calibrated. Doing a manual test I can’t get past 6.9. I’d rather not do the math and to constantly adjust it in my head. Am I missing something? Any suggestions from Alex owners?

Thats okay if it settles at 6.9 as long as it stays 6.9 for about a min or two that's acceptable.

Remember, you are calibrating the unit (pH monitor) itself, not the probe per say.

This is how I calibrate pH monitors, apex in particular.

Soak in RO water for a few mins first (no longer then an hour or so as ultra Purified water can effect the hydration layer on the bulb of the electrode) shake /wipe excess water off before inserting into packet 7.0
I perfer manual calibration,, once reading has settled and has not changed for ~1.5mins or so, hit complete, then dip probe in a glass of ro/di water, shake off/wipe excess, submerge in 10.00
after it settles at a constant reading for a min or two (even if its only 9.7)) its good to go.

If it read 7.0 and 10.0 during calibration, then technically the unit was already spot on with calibration.

Hope this helps!
