Purchased Hanna HI98100 pH Checker Plus late 2018. At the time was unable to use pH checker due to kitchen remodel and aquarium relocated in basement. Now that the 2 new tanks currently cycling, the Hanna checker has since dried out and rendered useless. Where's the best bet to put money to find a replacement? Considering Salifert test kits are hard to read and not the most reliable, Milwaukee may be to expensive for limited time use, Pen style pH tester don't seem to be the "Pro's choice" and want redundancy that Apex probe can not provide. i'm not chasing numbers, just want a solid start point. As always Thx for your insight and suggestions

IMO pH probably isn't something to really concern yourself with. If you really want to know, maybe get a test kit and check it just to be sure you're in range, but if alk checks out, usually pH will too IME.
