Hi,

I am planning on getting a calcium reactor for my tank next year.
I have been told that I need some form of PH control for the calcium reactor.

I am looking at adding a neptune Apex onto the system at the same time, could I use the Neptune Apex to control the Calcium Reactor via the PH readings?
Or would it be better to have an external PH controller such as the Milwaukee?

I have no experience of Calcium reactors, PH Controllers or the Neptune APex system & bits, so any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, many people use the Apex pH probe for calcium reactors. In fact the Apex even has a simple wizard to set an output on or off based on an upper and lower pH reading.

Thanks for your help. May gone down this route and avoid the need for an additional PH controller.
