Lol. 7.0-7.5. I don't do kalkwasser. It's an sps dominated tank and I top off 2-3 gallons of water a day. I like dosing much more. And of course I run a skimmer lol.
I don't use that much two part I don't care about how much of that I use. I just want to know why pH depletes that much. I'm not going to use kalkwasser I prefer dosing 2 part much more and my corals love it.
Califert and Red Sea test kit. My nitrates are 5ppm and phosphate 0ppm. I tried using that co2 absorption media through my calcium reactor barely moved the pH levels
I did not make an error in testing. I use Hagen pH test kit as well as my Neptunes lab grade pH probe and it's brand new. I've had this problem for a while.
The kalkwasser is a solutiom, and perfectly acceptable for an sps tank. I suspect youve had problems with it in the past to be ao against it? And what lighting do you use and what size tank to burn over 2 gallons a day? Is it splashing out? A normal day in my 90 with halides blasting 10hrs is roughly half gallon a day
I've been using balance 20-25ml daily since the beginning of the year. Dosing brs 2 part 5ml alkalinity once a day and 38ml of calcium once a day. I did that little test you do to see if you have excessive co2 in the house and it's a very minuet change so I don't know what else it can be. Explain kalkwasser to me because i really don't want to do the drip thing or throw it in my top off water. If anything id like to dose it.
Despite the unusual amount of top off you go through, ot is best imo in your ato.
I'm just using a aqualift pump and controlling it through my apex.
