Pretty new to the Profilux world but want to start using some of the programmable features. I have stream groups and timers and night variations on those stream groups, so I have been learning.

Now, specifically, when my pH hits 8.3 I would like my skimmer shut down until the pH falls to 8.15, for example. I'm setting up a recirculating CO2 scrubber on the skimmer and want to use this method to maintain a steady pH without solenoids involved.

The skimmer is assigned to a switch and the meter is connected and working. My thought is the PL should read something like;
when pH rises >8.3 then (skimmer socket) off
when pH falls <8.15 then (skimmer socket) on

I don't know if this could alternatively be controlled by the hysteresis function, or if it can play a part in the PL.

Am I going down the right rabbit hole? Any help is appreciated.

Need no PL skills here

Controller (in my case pH 2) and I want the low to 8,1 It means that I set nominal value to 8.2 - hysteresis to 0.2 and controller mode to two position

Go to the actual switch/socket - in my case her S29. Function pH2 and increase

Noe if the pH is between 8.3 and 8.1 and nominal value 8.2 (8.2 ± 1/2 hysteresis) it will run, Reaching 8,3 - it stops and is off till it is lower than 8.1 when it starts again
