Ok, so I did major tank maintenance last Saturday, cleaned all pumps ,salt creep, 20 gl water change , new carbon and gfo .. and added 5 small frags .
now for some reason my ph is climbing higher that I ever could get it before ..
Wondering why ,
The tank : running 2+ years ,sump and equipment 1+ years . 150gl, 48x18x30 ,trigger 36 sump, reef octopus skimmer (forget size) bio pellet reactor direct feed to sKimmel , carbon and gfo reactors , reeflo main pump, 3 pumps for reactors and chiller . 2 Gen 3 pro led.
Location : my office at work (closed on weekends )
Kole tang,foxface,lawnmower blenny,Randall gobie ,fire fish,engineer gobie, 2 clowns ,
Here are some screen shots from yesterday and this morning. .
Any ideas ? ? ?
As of this morning everybody looked happy .

Are you adding ph and alk buffers may need to adjust. Co2 issues may need more surface movement

no buffers , I turned on my second set for fans/blowers on Saturday . I peeked out a 8.29 last night ..

I know that my ph is not out of range , its just that nothing good in saltwater happens fast , so how come out of no where I am now able to hit this ph mark.. the best I have done in the pasted is 7.9 to 8.14
