My ph is 7.9 8.1 most the time in the day night time drop to 7.7 even with kalk my alk sometimes goes up high . I know if I can get my ph higher things will balance out so my corals can consume my calcium . What are good ways to raise my ph with out more added chemical ? Please help

If you don't have enough fresh air coming in, you can always add a fresh air intake to your skimmer. If that's difficult, you can always try running the skimmer intake through a carbon dioxide scrubber.

I am of the opinion that "chemicals" should never be used to raise pH (other then those used to maintain proper alk and calc levels.)

What is pulling down your pH is CO2.....more common during the colder months when your house is closed up and the old boiler is churing away. I would suggest running tubing outside to draw fresh air for you skimmer. Other possible "cures" are to run your refugium lights opposite your DT. This way photosynthesis is always going on, consuming CO2.

I never thought of that redfish makes perfect sense . Even though I've been doing this a while I forget the basics lol thanks all for the input .

Where can I find them for descent price in bulk? . I run a large down draft sucks in a lot of air I might need a lot
