Noticed my few heads of my acan are smaller than usual. Checked my ph and it's at 7.6,ammonia 0,nitrates 0,cal420,alk8,nitrites0,and phosphates 0. Wondering if it's my ph level that's causing the few heads to shrivel up more than normal. Any help would be appreciated

7.6 is the borderline on the low end. Acans needs some nitrates for them to do well.

I'm gonna dose some alkalinity of my 2 part to bring ph up

They are usually really fluffy and right now they are starting to flatten out

Mine do this randomly and always seem to bounce back. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it normal for LPS to periodically deflate? Either way just be careful you don't raise your PH to quickly, I'm sure you're aware just didn't want to assume :)

I have noticed my bubble coral deflate periodically but my hammers and acans don't seem to do it as often haha maybe it is a normal thing? and yeah don't raise your PH too quickly dose slowly and try and maintain a little higher PH in general...

Yeah I only added a lil bit of alk doser,I tested ph again and it came up lil darker than earlier. Gonna test tomorrow and see what I get. I usually keep it higher and when I tested today it was low

If I hadn't seen it bounce back every day, I'd swear my frogspawn was on its way out every night!

First pic was few days ago and the other is from now. The head on the right it's mouth is open a lot

I'd give it some time. If it gets worse (it doesn't look bad right now) do something about it. I've made the mistake of responding immediately to what I thought was a problem only to find out it was nothing far too many times.
