PH issues

Have a window slightly open in the same room as the tank and point a power head at the surface of the water to agitate it. Keeps my ph at 8.2

Have you tired lowering your tank temp down a degree it usually helps with dissolved oxygen in the water raising your ph slightly

Here's some graphs from my system
Note the lower temp and look at the ph

No but I'll try that

Yes I'm going to try that the sump is in a cabinet with only the back open. Just a question and Im going to try it, I have a unfinished basement nobody is ever down there. Is running a skimmer air line to the basement a option?

Its worth a try - just be sure that you not going to get water down to celler if the skimmer stop. A check valve maybe.

Do you have a furnace down there? If so, running a line down there might make things worst...

Regardless though, I think the easiest solution is the CO2 scrubber (unless running a line is ridiculously simple and involves no power tools haha). Took a few minutes to complete and startup and provided a solution. In your case, if it's too costly to sustain, at least you will know what the problem is definitively and then you can do something that might be a little more involved like running a line outside or down stairs or something.

It's not a cost factor, just drilling a hole to the outside is not a option. I already checked into the soda lime and airgas has it for around 2.00 a pound

Thank you @Lasse for your input

Seen that on the web thanks but airgas is in my town. Just go pick it up

Please report back if it works or not.

Another question - do you have a filter mat or a power filter in your system? Once - a friend of mine had low pH and his return water passed a filter mat that not was cleaned especially often. He took it away and the pH rise a bit. The bacteria activity in the filter mat produce CO2 that depressed the pH.

Running filter socks that get charged every weekend. But they have been washed several like around 20 times and could be not as pours as new.

I will definitely report back . I'm weaning off the kalk back to 2 part so it will be a little bit of changing till I get a true reading
