I have been having to constantly raise my ph everyone and awhile do to just the auto top off in my 300xl how do most people keep a stable ph because I feel this is hard to keep it stable if its constantly changing due to my RO water topping the system off.

Swing of around like 8.2 to like 7.9 or 8.0 after like a week or so making it hard to keep a ph of 8.3 which is what I hope to eventually get to but seems really hard to keep it.

It's pretty common for tanks to swing from roughly 7.9 to 8.2 over a 24hr period. Plus this time of year with windows closed will raise your house CO2 levels lowering your overall pH.
You'll find your levels running higher when weather permits you to keep the windows open.

Do you dose anything to maintain your Alk level?

I have some interesting theories on the weather and ph. first my house is pretty much old. it still has the original windows and etc. i do notice atleast with my house. that spring and summer when the air is stagnet or no wind at all my PH drops drastically to where I can't maintain a good ph level. but during the winter. there always seems to be a small breeze. granted im not going to open up any windows in my house. but with out the windows open my ph raises between 8.2 to 8.0 with out a co2 scrubber. the spring and summer I add a co2 scrubber to maintain the good ph.

I think this is due because my windows and window frames to my house are almost 75 years old and it doesn't have good isolation for the cold and warm elements.
