Ph Probe lifespan salt vs freshwater?

Does anyone know if Ph probes last longer or shorter in a freshwater application?

I run CO2 on my discus tank and the probe is nearing 18 months and seems to be holding its own.

Just curious if anyone else has noticed a difference in lifespan.

I have not used them myself but I imagine that saltwater pH probes might not last as long due to well salt since it corrodes things.
