Ph question

Hey everyone,

I just added a ph probe to my apex neptune last night. I think I calibrated it correctly but I could be wrong. Last night, it was reading around 8.0. This morning when I woke up, it was reading around 8.37. This afternoon and evening, it was reading around 8.59. Now I did do about a 40-45% water change yesterday and I did scrub some rocks to get rid of some hair algae. Assuming I calibrated it correctly, why would my ph be that high? Is it from the water change and scrubbing? Any help would be nice. I may recalibrate to be sure on Sunday after I see what it does tomorrow.

Could be from the water change depending on the salt mix. But i would not be too concerned it will probaly come down. Just keep a eye on it.

Ok. Thanks. Wasn't sure if I should recalibrate. I will give it a day or two.
