Ph question?

I have a API Master Saltwater Test Kit. Im getting a color blue with a ph test. Any idea what my levels are?

If your test result for ph are reading a blue colour you've got a big problem should be a light purple colour

The blue color matches nothing on the card?

I think that kit contains both a seawater and fresh water pH color card. You sure you used the right one?

There is no blue color for the API PH test.

I'd recommend that if you want to measure pH, to get a meter. There's no easy way to check a pH kit for accuracy.

Is there a chance it's purple and your a little color blind?
Also depending on the lighting in the room it could look blue instead of purple. Blue tank lights will effect what color you see

If you are useing the Low range test kit it will turn blue because it only reads to 7.6

If the color card you are using goes from yellow to blue it's the low range and will not work for saltwater or at least will not read in the range your tank will likly be in
