My 125 gallon has been riding on a 7.8 ph for the last couple days. i know im still in the OK range but would like to see it come up. are there any cheap/easy things i can do with my setup to help bump this up? my sump cant really fit any sort of macro algae and i would like to avoid using buffers if possible. also im not using any sort of gfo or reactor that could lower it.

Can you open some window's or run an air line from your skimmer to an outside air source?

Run the air line for the skimmer outside.

^^^^ perfect and cheap^^^^^
Check your Alk as well, it that's low you can raise that with a little Kalkwasser in the ATO as that will bring up your PH too.

i dont have much of a bio load so my alk hasnt really changed at all. im sure if this is normal but its been 2.5meg/l consistently sense i started testing for it. i only have 3 lps corals though in 150 gallons total. but i will try running the tubing, thanks everyone!

In that case don't chase your #.
Just get away with regular WC and your fine.
Still test for it every week till you get more corals and test twice a week on ALK then.
