pH swings due to dosing?

Hello! Today I started my 6 day Cipro dosing for brown jelly. My pH has been stable at 8.4 for a year. I’m afraid that turning off my skimmer will fluctuate my pH too much. I know it’s necessary but am I overthinking it or is it fine turning the skimmer off for a week?

Yeah your tank will be fine with a drop for a week. Just open a window or run an air stone in the sink if you’re really worried about PH.
