PH tank???

My PH is tanking today and I don’t know why - kh is relatively stable (I’ve been working on it) - attaching reports on both. Didn’t add anything except fuel. Any ideas on why it would drop so suddenly?

Start by (Re)calibrating the probe. If possible use another ph meter to confirm. What kind of fuel did you add?

It’s possible the CO2 in your home got high overnight.

Thanks! I double checked it with an api test and they results matched. But I opened a window by the tank and the drop has leveled off, so that’s hopefully all it was.

It was co2, I think, thanks again. Getting back to normal (the fuel was just the Aquavitro Fuel for corals - I dose it regularly

Do you have a newer home?
With tighter wrapped and built homes these days, CO2 is a problem in houses, since they can't breath.
You almost should be installing an outside air unit with exhaust and a heat recovery wheel with every new home.

If you hosted a party, had a bunch of friends over or your fireplace was on that might be the culprit.
