With salifert 8.1
With red sea 8.6
What is the best test?

yes but now I have this

Been using salifert for ph over here.

8.6 would seem to be a really high reading, with normal conditions.

Both values are fine, and 8.6 is unlikely unless you are using very high pH additives or have poor aeration.

Any calibrated pH device is proven by its own calibration.

That's the reason to avoid all pH kits: they are not easily calibrated or checked for accuracy.
