pH up

I got this marine buffer ( https://www.amazon.com/Seachem-Liquid-Marine-Buffer-500ml/dp/B0002APJLS/ ) and seems like by the time my pH is up to 8.3 the dKH is way high. Is it like that for the other brands? Are there any you guys recommend? Or should I just stick with this one (it's what the LFS sold me). Could my calcium levels effect the dKH?

All pH buffers are just a mixture of alkalinity supplements. As long as your other parameters are within an acceptable range, I wouldn't chase your pH.
