I am running a Waterbox 190.5 mixed reef setup and have managed to constrain my pH from 8.2 in the morning to 8.5 in the evening. I was thinking about trying to adjust my Kalk drip a little more to narrow this range but would it really be worth it? I have good ventilation and a fuge on a reverse cycle.

Alk 8.4
PO3 .1
Ca 450
Nitrates 25
Mg 1350

if your tank is happy I don't think your nitrates are high, mine have been running 18/20 .

That's the thing, some coral I have introduced are doing well (Montipora, Porites, Duncan, Zenia and so on) but I lost a Psammocora and Leptoseris....

That can be due to a bunch of different things not only nitrates.
