PH?

I just recently bought and received an Apex controller. Before the controller I was testing my PH and it was always at 8.2. My Apex, which I indeed calibrated, is showing my PH at 7.88. And it stays around this number even when the lights go off. Should I be concerned? Should I do anything and if so, what could I do? Thanks.

Does it every fluctate? your tank should undulate on a daily basis. sometimes +/- 0.2 PH.

Don't worry about the number. Worry about stability. If your Tank is happy and healthy, pH doesn't matter so long as it stays stable from day to day. You will likely drop .1 - .2 at night unless you have a sump/fuge on reverse or 24hr lighting schedule.

That's good to know. Because it goes from 7.86 and is now 7.88.
