Ph is a little low. I suspect it's because the tank's in the basement. I have some b-ionic two part. My question is, can I dose this to raise my ph? And should I used both parts . My calcium is at 430-440 already??

Have not tested alk. Going to get a test kit today. Also, for more info- I do not have a sump. 38g 35lbs live rock. 1 year up and running. Good hob skimmer and mp10. Not happy with growth rate of a plating monti and procillipora. Only two sps's I have in the tank. Also have a sunburst bta and couple small fish. Going slow. Everything is healthy, so I hesitate to start adding things. Would just like to start really getting my corals going (and of course adding!).

a test kit would be your first step especially for SPS...I use seachem aquavitro products when i need to dose..if your alk is within range and your PH is low you can use Balance. This will raise the PH without affecting alk. If your alk is also low you can do a water change or dose their product called eight.four. You can also try buffering your r/o water before you add salt. Also which salt do you use? for a while i was using instant ocean and i was having to dose every other day to keep my levels within range. I recently switched to Red Sea Coral Pro and haven't had to dose much at all as long as i keep up with my 20% water changes every week.

Actually just checked and it is now around 8.0-8.2.
Just did 10% water change. Maybe I'm jumping the gun. But I am getting little to no growth on my procillipora and monti's. Zoas are reproducing well. Trying to upload some pics

Ph was a lighter shade on the test kit yesterday. The small frag is the monti.
