I need to raise the PH in my tank. I’m cycling a new tank and my ph is 7.8. My salinity is on point at 1.025

I wouldn't sweat over your pH until you start getting a healthy population of corals. Fish don't care what the pH is as long as it's reasonably stable.

Fish do care and a pH lower than natural sea water likely impacts them greater the further off it gets. pH is enormously important and marine fish at 7.8 pH are unable to function properly. This doesn't mean they are not able to live in our tanks, but in the wild they would likely die very fast.

Whatever dude, The OP isn't keeping fish in the wild. 7.8 is just fine for fish in his tank starting out.
