So I finally have my sump up and running on the 280g but I'm getting a phantom wave in the return section.
So a little details of the sump. Its a twin 29g tied together by a 2" pvc cross passage at the return chamber. Im running dual 1" dursos with each 29 having its own durso spilling into a 4"x12"x14"h chamber that spills into the next chamber. 1 sumps next chamber is a 12x12x13h with two 8x8x4 marinepure blocks and then it spills into a 12x12x13 return section that houses a jebao 18000. The other sump 4x12x14h spills into a 12x19x13h that will house chaeto when the time comes and then to a 12x7x13h that feeds to the jebao through the 2" pvc cross chamber.
Now the phantom wave is only in the chamber that houses the jebao and it appears and disappears on a steady cycle of waves for 20-30sec then no waves for 10-15sec. These waves are roughly 2 to 3". Has anyone ever had this problem?
