I'm in bad need of a reactor for my system but I can't decide which to go with. I recently overfed fed my tank with diy food. And the detris sparked a brown hair algae bloom. Which do you prefer more.

I just purchased the two stage from BRS...I like the separation of media while still only utilizing one pump...It's probably really easy to clean and I can mount it above my sump to free room for other equip! -And the price aint bad either!!

I use a BRS dual reactor for GFO and carbon, and a Phosban 150 for Biopellets. For me these were the best reactors for these applications.

I have a BRS reactor for carbon and a Phosban for GFO. I personally like the Phosban better and will probably get another to switch my carbon to. The size is great and the phosban keeps my GFO tumbling far better than the BRS reactor ever did. Plus, I have yet to have any clumping issues. I run both reactors off of one pump and made a simple manifold out of PVC with ball valves to control the flow to each reactor. Very simple setup and works great for me.

I believe I will go with the phosban. It's on amazon for $35. Here is algae pics.
