Phosban 550 Hosebarb MOD ?

I have the Phosban 550. I plan to get a second one soon. I am building a manifold for my new 180g Reef Tank. My question is....

Is there a way to change the input and output hose barbs to a ¾ “ ? Or is 1/2 “ inner diameter my only option?

As they say, go big or go home.

Could you maybe use a reducing adapter of some kind? Would that do the trick for what you're trying to do?
