Phosban 550 reactor

Hi,

I have a problem with my phosban 550 reactor from two little fishies. It's functioning as a chaeto reactor outside my nano reef tank. I'm cleaning it every 2 weeks, but yesterday after cleaning it, it started leaking from the lid. No matter what i try, tighting it harder, looser, with the washer, without the washer, it keeps leaking from the lid.

I have ordered a new washer and 0-ring for it, but i have to wait 2 weeks. Any one faced this before and had a fix?

It has to be the O-ring or maybe you cracked the lid.

The lid is fine i have expected it, i don't understand why the plastic washer is in it ( or the function of it). There is water under it, when i open it.
I hope it's the o-ring, with the old o-ring and washer i can't get it leak free which is a bummer if i have to shut down with my chaeto reactor for 2 weeks.
