phosban amount to use

I don' t have a reactor and am using phosban in a media bag in my filter, just wondering if their instructions of 50grams per 50 gallons is enough? It seems kinda small. I have a 10g tank and 10grams of phosban seems like a very small amount. It only takes up about 1/4 of my media bag.

If you use too much the posphate will drop to zero and your corals will die of hunger. Use the tiny amount, retest the tank a few hours after you add it to see how fast the phosphate is falling.
