Phosban reactor to fuge?

Has anyone else ever thought about putting Chaeto into a reactor? Would it work? I'm setting up a 20g long and it's gonna be mainly a coral tank, just trying to be creative.

Why? just to be creative? Cheato needs light. Light over reactor will eventually cause Coraline which will block the light... also, Chaeto needs occasional trimming...

Think it would be a pain and possibly limit the ability to grow without constantly messing with it.

I would have a phosban reactor which is clear, then I could/would light it. As far as trimming it would easily come off the back of the tank to be trimmed. Just thinking of ways to add it to my system without a sump or buying an expensive HOB fuge since I have the reactor laying around.

My first thought is no, to many issues. Then reading that you don't have a sump, I say go for it.

Figure out a way to light it, keep it small enough to tumble around in there, and keep it from clogging the lines or pump and it may work.

I'll do more thinking and planning. I just thought it was a neat idea for a piece of equipment I have Laying around. The goal for this tank is to build it as cheap and DIY as possible. Then I'm planning to do a much larger tank in the future.

im planning on doing something like that. My only thought is what if i can force the growth of the cheato by controlling the flow and tumbling would it help export nutrition faster and lower the pos4. it will be similar to arid reactor except the led will be outside the reactor
