IMO, get the Hanna testers for both of these elements. They are both easy and reasonably priced.

I use Hanna ulr phosphorus measured in ppb and convert to phosphate .
and Hanna Alk

the Hanna Alk tester has a few quirks with their reagent making me question their accuracy .
Find one and trust it .
IMO stability is far more important and not the actual value
