Hey all! I'm sure this is a common question, but I've still struggled to find a solid answer on this situation. My phosphates are higher than I want them to be, but my nitrates have consistently hovering around zero. What can I do to mitigate this with my current setup. Details below
40 gal tank, a bit over 3 months old at this point
Phosphates are currently at 0.5
Nitrates around zero
I've been doing a 5gal water change every two weeks
Using Phosguard, been replacing every month
Everything in the tank is happy, but still dealing with some diatoms though as my glass gets a new film every few days.
Thanks for all the input!
