Is this a problem for my coral? Where the phosphate is that high? What can I do to bring it down?

I am currently sitting at 0.607 ppm with Nitrates around 20 ppm. Corals aren't amazing at the moment. Green and browned corals at the moment. Fortunately, I found the reason why it went that high and it slowly decreasing with water changes and skimmer finally working as intended. Also, I am dosing Vibrant to help out too. You have several options to lower ranging from media, macro algae, water changes, and chemicals.

If everything looks fine and healthy, I wouldn’t be too concerned but start bringing things down very gradually. High phosphates may stunt coral growth and cause browning out or bleaching but It’s easier for corals to survive .25 phosphate than abrupt parameter shifts. You’ve received some good suggestions in here especially reducing feeding, water changes, maybe some macro algae or a very conservative dose of GFO. There’s also Phosphate Rx which is lanthanum chloride, it binds to the free floating phosphates in the water, solidifying them and allowing them to be removed by filter socks/skimmer. It’s safe just follow the instructions. Good luck!

No GFO yet. Reduce feeding quantity and do a slight water change. Bring it down S L O W L Y whatever you do to prevent shock to the tank
