Quick question. I see everyone has a different decimal point wheres phosphate at .wwc is .1,others .03 mine is at .006 .I use hanna checker. Phosphorus ppb. Is at 2. .03 is at 10ppb..and .1 which is WWC is at 33ppb. So which number do you go with? Which decimal point? .1 .01 or .001?

Yes i got the chart .what decimal point do you go after for phosphates?

Oh mines to low then at .006 .WWC uses .1 ,mine is lower than theres..lol

Ideally you should shoot for less then 0.1, good range of 0.02-0.08

However there are very successful reefs are run up wards of 3.0ppm

Being at 0.006 will be more problematic then 0.1 imo

20 years doing this and just starting to test for phosphates because gonna start a sps tank and i want everything to be perfect for the corals.always had lps, never sps acropora gonna try it just 1 for now. Just i see different decimal points ,now i know Thank you and knowing is half the battle..lol

I prefer .1 as it makes it harder for me to bottom out my nutrients as it gives me a little more cushion than lets say .03 but I have run mine at .5 without any effects maybe even better coloration but who knows.

Ok Thanks.so basically I was at 0 and thats no good.need to put it up a bit. Thanks
