Recently my phosphate levels are always at 0.00 (using Hanna checker) so I tried to get ME Phosphate do add some but that was not working so I decided to test the solution "Me Phosphate" and it came back as 0.00 ?

So started questioning Hanna Checker so I used Standard Phosphate solution (1.0ppm) and that came back as 1.02 which would be pretty much right on give or take +/- 0.03 checker error.

Anyone else have issues with this brand ?

thinking about using "NeoPhos" or is there anything better ?

My glass film is clear so I'm sure i'm starving some of my corals.

IMO, the best bet is food grade sodium phosphate.

Brightwell Neophos is probably OK, but it is expensive and provides no guarantee of purity.

I have had the best luck with polyp booster and reef roids.....doesn't take much of either to shoot my phosphates up.

I bought the smaller bottle of NeoPhos when my phosphates started to bottom out frequently (4 month old tank). I found that dosing 3 mL a day in my 45 gal system keeps my phosphate around 0.04 to 0.09 ppm. Once this bottle runs out, I plan on mixing a DIY solution using food grade sodium phosphate as Randy suggests.

so would something like this works ?

Trisodium Phosphate

and how would I know how much to dillute and dose ?
I use trisodium phosphate and dissolve 6 grams in 1500 ml then dose about 15 mls a day. On my 100ish total volume, 1 ml = .01 p04. Dosage depends on your consumption.

Put a fresh shrimp (use Mesh bag) in the sump for like 6 to12 hrs guaranteed it will raise your phos but beware don't keep for long time it will also raise your NO3.,,

Food grade trisodium phosphate (e.g., the Loudwolf brand posted) is good.

Here's a calculator, and the entry for phosphate from potassium phospahte is close enough.
