I decided to try chemi-pure-blue and have had it in for about three days. I tested my phosphate which was usually 60 PPB and now my Hanna Checker is reading 200, which is the limit of the checker. This tells me it could be higher. Has anyone had this experience with this product? Could it be the regent? Nothing has died, as I took inventory. I have not changed anything else.

That is strange
Which Checker are you using.
How old is the reagent?
How are the cuvettes being cleaned?

The checker is 3 months old and so is the reagent. I clean them with RO water.

My buddy is bringing his Hanna checker over tomorrow to see if it isn’t checker or Reagent.
