For those of you that are using phosphate minus I was wondering did you go straight to using the recommended amount or did you slowly come up to the 100ml per 27 gallons? Also I didn't read that it needs to tumble like gfo so can I put it in a filter bag and put that in a reactor or would it just clump up?

I'm very pleased with the performance and price of Phosphate Minus. I use 500 ml in a Vertex reactor and it keeps phosphate at bay for three weeks, after which I replace the media. I have a high bioload and my sistem (125 g) produces a lot of phosphates. I dose vodka-vinegar, which mainly takes care of nitrates, use an algae scrubber, which takes care of both nitrates and phosphate, and also Phosphate Minus in the reactor.

I use a cup in my sump flow tray in a nylon foot sock. Works very well.
